General terms and Conditions Varrstoen

Warranty Varrstoen:
For (possible) warranty claims, your sales invoice is required.
The guarantee period starts from the moment of purchase.
The technical guarantee period of the material is one year. The wheels will be replaced in case of break or destruction within the guarantee period, provided the technical data of the rims are conform to the specifications of the car.
Paint warranty on painted alloy wheels is one year from date of delivery / installation.

The following cases NO warranty is given:
- Usual wear (e.g curb damage) - On polished / chromed wheels or parts of polished / chrome wheels - On individual parts such as wheels center caps, center bolts, valves, rivets, etc. - Damage from outside or by third parties - Stone hits - Influence of brine and salt (used in icy conditions will expire your warranty!) - Corrosion - Treatment with wrong means (Beware of aggressive wheel cleaner) - Treatment with high pressure - Inadequate maintenance - Use of snow chains or spin - If repaired by third parties - Use of hitlead when balancing - Use of incorrect valves - Damage caused by mounting tires - When you sell your rims the guarantee will expire - Other cases which obviously does not fall under guarantee or warranty issues

What to do in case of transportation damage:
Varrstoen paid much attention to proper packaging and protection for your alloy wheels. Yet it is possible that a product during transportation is damaged. On this page you can find what to do when you unexpectedly receive a damaged product.

There are two situations are possible:
A) you discover a damaged package in the presence of the driver/transporter.
B) when opening the package you discover damage to your set of wheels.

You will discover a visibly damaged packaging in the presence of the driver:
If during the delivery of your set of wheels obvious damage is seen to the packaging, the transport company shall make a notification of the damage. You should also inform Varrstoen within 48 hours via email or phone (preferably by phone) of the damage. Always indicate your name, description of the order, description of damage, date of delivery of the products and your phone number. Varrstoen will immediately start a procedure and then inform you on our findings. Keep the original packaging and wait for instructions from Varrstoen.

You will discover damage to your product after opening the package:
If you find a damaged product in the package you should inform Varrstoen within 48 hours via email or phone (preferably by phone). Always indicate your name, description of the order, description of the damage, date of delivery of the products and your phone number. Varrstoen will immediately start a procedure and then inform on our findings. Keep the original packaging and wait for instructions from Varrstoen.

Important:
If Varrstoen is not informed about the damage within 48 hours after delivery, you take the risk no longer be entitled to claim the shipping insurance and the damage will not be compensated.
